IKEA kitchens offer some of the best value for the money. With careful planning, accurate installation and properly fitted finishing details, the result can look and function like a semi-custom kitchen.
We go beyond assembling and hanging cabinet boxes. We review the complete design, adapt the system to the room and resolve the panels, fillers, trim and alignments that make the finished kitchen feel built in.
The IKEA Kitchen Planner is useful, but its plans often contain conflicts, missing pieces or details that will not work properly in the actual room. Every design and product list is reviewed before installation so those issues can be corrected early.
When a suitable IKEA door or drawer front is available, we can also build select custom solutions around it. The 45-degree corner cabinet and open cutting-board cabinet shown here were both custom built around IKEA fronts.
Every visible panel is cut to fit and scribed to the surrounding walls. We do not rely on the standard 15 or 24-inch-wide panels when they cannot create a properly finished result. It is one more step that helps an IKEA kitchen look semi-custom—and a level of finish that is rarely part of a DIY or basic handyman installation.
Our scope can also include small electrical work, such as moving a receptacle or running wiring for an LED transformer, along with basic plumbing such as installing a sink and connecting a dishwasher.
For corner kitchens, laminate countertops are joined with mason’s mitres rather than the common cut-and-butt method. The shaped joint gives the countertop a cleaner, more professional appearance.
We install laminate countertops, but do not install quartz, granite or other stone surfaces. Those materials require a specialized countertop fabricator.

Review
Once you accept the quote, we review the design, correct inconsistencies, suggest alternatives where needed and prepare a complete Ikea shopping list. You can then order online and have everything delivered directly to the job site, avoiding additional store visits and helping the installation proceed smoothly.
Installation
We install the support rails, assemble and hang the cabinet boxes, fit side panels and fillers, and install the drawers, doors and under-cabinet lighting. When included in the scope, laminate countertops and appliances are fitted at this stage.
Final adjustments
Every door and drawer is adjusted for consistent reveals and alignment. Acrylic and silicone caulking are applied, leaving the kitchen ready for wall painting or a new backsplash, both available as separate services.
Final cleanup
We give the kitchen a final vacuum and stack the Ikea cardboard neatly in your garage, ready to be placed at the curb on your next collection day.
